Joe started as a pizza cook and dishwasher in the once famous "Sorrento’s Pizzeria and Tavern" at the ripe old age of 14. His 1st job would put some change in his pocket and passion in his blood. James started baking at the legendary "Bluebird" bakery when he was only 16 years old. 30 years later he’s still knee deep in flour every morning at 7 am rounding up the famous "Jimino" loaf.

Joey Calzone’s is a 282 seat Italian Eatery & Bar. Due to our proximity to the Essar Center (home of our Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds) we have been host to almost every sports team that has visited our city. From hockey to baseball, basketball, football, swimming we feed them all. Our bar is a tribute to local sports hero’s and the unofficial pre and post Hound Game meeting place!!!!

We have been serving up quality since July of 2001.  We leave nothing to chance, because nothing but the best for you "our guests".
